How much is your time worth?
If you set up your own construction business would you buy a van and some tools? Would you pay to be in the phone book and your local paper so people could find your business and hire you? Obviously you would because if you didn't you wouldn't be in business very long. So why is it people wanting to make money on the internet try and do it without spending anything on their online business? There seems to be this idea that "if I do it myself, it's free." What about your time though? How much is your time worth when you are working online?
As an example let's break down exactly what a PLR Article Pro membership is worth to an internet marketer like me and how much it saves me in time. PLR Article Pro supplies 11 packs each month for $97 so I make that around $9 for each of the packs. Each pack contains 40 articles so if my math is correct, that's around 22 cents an article. I can write a 450 word article in about an hour with the research included. Something like this article, where I know the subject and do not have to do any research will take me no more than 30 minutes. So if I write 2 an hour that makes my time worth 44 cents an hour. In other words, to write my own articles I consider my value to be worth less than 50 Cents.

This is without taking into consideration the fact that each pack has the keyword research included with a spreadsheet showing the top 1000 long tail phrases, predicted results, Google KEI figures etc. It also includes a spreadsheet showing the best paying and best performing affiliate programs from within the packs niche and to top it off nicely, each pack includes professionally created headers to use for when I am creating a new blog or site with the pack rather than adding the articles to an existing site.
You may well be thinking that it is ok for me to preach about making an investment of $97 a month when I make $500 a day but you would be totally looking at this the wrong way: I make $500 a day because I invest $97. I actually spend a hell of a lot more than that but you see my point? I made a commitment by using the services of PLR Article Pro which allowed me to quickly create 11 niche targeted blogs per month, freeing my time up to promote those niche blogs by building links, using Web 2.0, writing promotional articles etc. which in turn created an online income for me.
Until I took the plunge and made a commitment by making a financial investment, I wasn't making anything. Once I started looking at my activities as a business, delegating my time effectively, purchasing tools that genuinely made my life easier and using professional services that were cost effective, my income shot up.
Yes you may run at a loss for those first few months you are paying for a service like PLR Article Pro but without taking that commitment I'm afraid you are just playing at it and your chances of making a living from internet marketing are greatly reduced, probably none existent.
